# FMGE is a screening test conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) which allows candidates to obtain provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.

The screening test is conducted twice a year in the month of June and December.

# No of questions - 300 questions

# Number of sessions - Part A and Part B (both conducted on one day)

# Total time allotted - 300 minutes; Part A - 150 minutes, Part B - 150 minutes

# No negative marking

# Criteria for passing - 150 marks (out of 300 marks)

# Mode of exam - Computer based exam (online)

# Type of questions - Objective type questions

# Language - English only

# The authorities will release the result in the form of individual scorecards and merit list.

# The merit list will specify whether the candidates have qualified the exam or not.

# Aspirants who will qualify the exam must download their scorecard and carry it along with other mandatory documents to obtain the pass certificate from the authorities concerned.
