Fibrous dysplasia:

• Developmental arrest of bone
• Can be monostotic or polyostotic
• Curvilinear trabeculae of woven bone  arranged in Chinese letter pattern without osteoblastic rimming
• Mc Cune Albright syndrome- Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia, pigmentation of skin and precocious puberty
• Associated with GNAS mutation
